SWIM FIT:

Swimmers, 12 (Grade 7) – 17 years: This group is ideal for someone who cannot maintain the commitment of the competitive program and have other extra curricular interests. Training format and stroke development will be similar to the competitive programs, but the intensity will be tailored to meet the needs of the swimmers in the group. Swim Fit members can attend meets if they qualify, but it is not a requirement. Full attendance is encouraged in order to enjoy the maximum fitness and skill development potential of the program, but is not strictly enforced at this level. However, there is no reduction of fees for reduced attendance. The goal of this group is to develop a life long enjoyment of swimming, to promote fitness for purposes such as lifeguarding, self-directed swim training and the introduction to Masters Swimming.
